Wenger: We fear nobody
[b]ARSENE WENGER has sent a rallying cry to Arsenal fans by insisting the Gunners
fear nobody in world football.

The North Londoners face Dynamo Kiev tonight in their opening Champions League
fixture and the Frenchman is in bullish mood ahead of the game in the
Ukraine.
Wenger said: “We are afraid of nobody in world football.
“We are happy to play our football but we do respect Dynamo Kiev.
"I feel their strength mainly is that they are very efficient as a team.
"They are very hard-working with good discipline and up front they can
score goals with Artem Milevsky and Ismael Bangoura.
“To knock Spartak Moscow out in the qualifiers and score eight goals has one
advantage for us - it will keep us on our toes and prepare us mentally
because that is a remarkable performance.
“For me this is the kind of game in which you want to defend well.”
Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor backed his boss’ stance by revealing the
Gunners are brimming with confidence following their emphatic 4-0 win at
Blackburn last weekend.
The Togo striker scored a 'perfect' hat-trick at Ewood Park, notching goals
with his right foot, left peg and head.
He said: "My confidence has always been high because I’ve had a few
chances.
"I hit the post against Fulham and I set-up three goals against
Newcastle.
"I’m very happy and for sure my confidence is higher than before."
The Togo striker reckons Arsenal have a tough task in overcoming the challenge
of group rivals Kiev, Porto and Fenerbache.
But he insists they have what it takes to progress to the last 16.
Adebayor said: "I think a lot of people think it’s going to be an easy
group but I don’t think so.
"I don’t think it is going to be easy to pass through, but we are
Arsenal.
"We just have to believe in ourselves and, if we can, play our football.
“If we can stay patient, score the goals then, in the end, we’ll win the game.
That’s what we’re going to Kiev for.
"We have all our confidence back in the Premier League and we’re trying
to build on it in Kiev.
“It’ll be very difficult and I believe that the squad are ready for it.
"So, a crucial win on Wednesday will get our confidence back more and
make it a little bit better for the next stage.
"We know it’s important to win especially when you play the first leg of
the Champions League away and then we travel to Bolton on Saturday.
“We are just taking game after game. We go to Kiev. Let’s win that game then
we can talk easily about the game at Bolton."
