Bent blast: We're gelly Totts
DARREN BENT has told Tottenham's big-money flops: Sort yourselves out or we're
in BIG trouble.

CRISIS ... Darren Bent
Spurs splashed out a whopping £67million on players this summer.
They bought Luka Modric, Giovani, Heurelho Gomes, David Bentley, Vedran
Corluka and Roman Pavlyuchenko.
But it has failed to pay off so far as Juande Ramos' men are bottom of the
Premier League and looking for their first win of the season after losing
2-1 at home to Aston Villa on Monday.
Bent, who has scored 10 times in 40 appearances since joining Spurs from
Charlton in a £16.6m deal in June 2007, said: "We've signed a lot of new
players and it takes time for them to gel.
"But we need to get it sorted sooner rather than later because if we carry on
as we are, we're going to be in big trouble."
Bungling £7.8m Brazilian keeper Gomes was to blame for Villa's second goal.
And £16.6m midfielder Modric limped off in the first half during the horror
show at White Hart Lane.
Bentley and Giovani bizarrely started on the bench, while £8.5m defender
Corluka and £14m striker Pavlyuchenko both failed to impress on their Spurs
debuts.
But Bent is tipping his new strike Russian partner Pav to come good following
his move from Spartak Moscow.
Bent said: "Everyone saw what he was capable of in the Euros and, hopefully,
he can bring his energy and passion for the game to Tottenham.
"We've not really had time to get to know each other.
"We've only trained together for a few days because of the international break.
"We've got plenty of time now to work on our partnership and there are some
positive signs. He's a willing runner, which means I haven't got to do all
the running.
"He's also a strong guy and will take a load off my back.
"He speaks no English, but it's not a problem because football is a universal
language and he knows what he's doing.
"He's a top player and he will make it easier for me.
"There's no reason why we can't click together."
Bent, who had Robbie Keane, Dimitar Berbatov and Jermain Defoe for competition
last season, added: "It's early days and I'm sure we'll get it right.
"But we need to do it quickly. We are bottom of the Premier League with one
point and people are expecting results now."
