Atletico suffer Forlan injury
Atletico Madrid's win over PSV Eindhoven came at a price as they lost Diego Forlan to a thigh injury for about three weeks.

That
result continued Atletico's good current form which, aside from
Saturday's 2-1 loss at Valladolid, had seen the Rojiblancos win 4-0
against both Malaga and Schalke in recent weeks, but the loss of Forlan
tempered Aguirre's joy at such a big win."It's not a complete happiness, since I'm worried by the injury to Diego Forlan," said Aguirre."He's
a player that doesn't tend to complain. He had returned from Uruguay
with some slight stiffness and now he's been injured. We have to wait
to see how he progresses. "But we have to be positive, it's a night to enjoy. We're satisfied with the work done." Aguirre was keen to keep everybody's feet on the ground though, adding: "We have to be careful with the euphoria."Atletico
striker Sergio Aguero, who netted the opening two goals against PSV
before Maniche completed the scoring, is hoping the Rojiblancos' good
early-season form can be turned into silverware come the end of the
campaign."I hope we will obtain a title. We know that it will
not be easy but we are going to do everything possible to achieve it,"
said the Argentina star."We are going to try and get as far as
possible in all the competitions that we are playing. The season has
just started and we need to continue along the same line."
