Have a Change in the registration process

Hi friends.
I think its the right time when mig33 should undergo change in the registration process. I mean to say that there should be provision of filling email id while registering.
Username-

password-

email id*-

mobile number-

now what is the benefit of email id ? Well the email id can be used in this way. Suppose an user forgets his pasword and the sim card is lost. Wel in this situation he/she can email to mig33 with the email id given at the time of registration. The user wil have to provide new mobile number via email. And Nw mig33 (in case of sim lost) wil change the mobile number with id remains the same and wil send a confirmation email to the email id of the user. After clicking of the confirmation link the new mobile number wil be accepted and pasword wil be sent to the new number and the user wil be tension free. I think its a nice idea.what u people think?

YOU ARE RIGHT NIKSHAY BRO THERE SHOULD BE CHANGE IN THE REGISTRATION PROCESS OF MIG33. IF SOME ONE LOST IT SIMS THEN TO GET PASSWORD BACK IS DIFFICULT SO I THINK IF WE GOT THE OPTION OF EMAIL ID WHILE REGISTERING THEN IF WE FORGOT THE PASSWORD WE CAN GET IT BCK EASILY THROUGH EMAIL!!!!!!!!!!

True that...nick bro your idea is great. But the proposal should be discussed with the other admins too since it can be sent along with tareq's approval i think because sometimes our views and requests are not met. Nice idea

Everyone doesnt have an email id
They will have to first make an id then register on mig
Another objection which strikes my mind is that we make ids on our friend's numberz or family's numberz
Where will that many email ids come from ??
Becuz as we can not register two ids on one email so how will it be possible to register ids on mig33

hmmm... mig33 says, one id per one person... thats true, we have many id's which are made from our family members and friends numbers... but, this is against mig33 rule

This is not always true. I have Six mobile numbers all are registered under my name. In Sri Lanka GSM network providers also have allowed that one person can have the maximum of 10 mobile number under his name. I use four mig33 ids. Because when the contact list is very long i couldn't loggin to mig whenever the 3g network coverage not exists..I always got the error message like "Connection lost. Please reconnect"...I had delete contacts from my first id and added those again in my other ids.

Hmmmm...Creating a and maintaining an email address is not a big task in today's world....Without pc and internet connection also we can create new email Addresses and check our emails, using our mobile phone...Any how there should be a mechanism to retrieve the forgot password in case the sim lost.

I don't think its too important to add email address with registration. Mig33 is not responsible for your lost sim card.
And me too think as Roma said all users do not have email address. Its very tough for a mobile user create an email.
Remember one thing that mig33 is an application for mobile.
