by which means you want to say flooding is over??? all the time flooding is going in many rooms of mig33...

this feature cannot stop flooders as they have other ways of doing it too as far as i think i have seen them flooding even today :S

I think then the timer/counter/ whatever mig33 developed to detect flooding is not actually working well.

There must be some more effective way to detect flooding.

if any1 writes in a chat room continuously, than mig33 detects him/her as flooder. so he/she cant write anything for a limited time...

No doubt its apparently a great feature. But flooders are not stopped. Now they use multi nick as they can't continue flooding by once nick. and it appears to be another big problem these days.

Either I am being dead wrong or there is a bug is this system.

it doesn't prevent the user from using emote codes.

have anyone noticed this? Can any flooder still use the emote codes after being blocked in room?

Well, apparently this feature hasn't done any magic yet to stop flooding...
But then its just a first ever attempt by migteam to do somethin about flooding and it isn't supposed to be a perfect solution..

Now lets see if migteam learn from its defects,short-comings and lopholes and come up with a new solution to flooding which is atleast better than this one if not perfect...
Hope migteam is serious in curtailing floodin in chatrooms
